The “Hanging Market”

To shop for some souvenirs, you can find plenty at the “Pasar Gantung” in Tawau town. Pasar Gantung literally means “Hanging Market” and is named in such a way because most of the goods sold there are hanged. You can get various goods here such as household decorative items, local handicrafts, such as hand woven baskets and placemats and even clothings. Do keep in mind to bargain before making any purchases.
